ABOUT OUR COMMITTEE

Current projects:

Working on 3 writing projects: (1) Cultural critique of the evolving definitions of "diversity" and "inclusion" and how these are taught in psychiatric residency programs; (2) what a cultural perspective can contribute to neuroscience training in psychiatry; and (3) agenda for research on the DSM-5 Cultural Formulation Interview that focuses on its impact on outcomes at the level of clinical processes (e.g., patient engagement) and symptom reduction and recovery.
